Dr. Ghassan Al-Sulaiman is Chairman
of Siraj Capital Ltd. He is also past Chairman of the Jeddah
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Jeddah Marketing
Board (organizers of the Jeddah Economic Forum), and the National
U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the Board of
Directors of the Private University - Makkah Region, the Visually
Impaired Service Center, and the Saudi Organization for the
Handicapped.
Dr. Ghassan serves as Chairman of the Board of several private
sector entities, including the Ghassan A. Al-Sulaiman Furniture
Co. Ltd. (IKEA), Venture Capital Bank (Bahrain). He also serves
on the Boards of Directors of Savola Company, Arabia Cement
Company, Bin Sulaiman Holding Company, and others. Dr. Ghassan
received his Masters in Business Administration from the University
of San Francisco in California and his Doctorate from Hull
University in the UK.

Ibrahim Mardam-Bey
is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Siraj
Capital Ltd and a Senior Strategic Advisor and a Member of
the Board of Directors of BSEC Bemo Securitisation, SAL. Mr.
Mardam-Bey possesses a broad range of skill sets, competencies
and experiences unique in the international finance, investment
banking and Islamic Finance world. As an executive he has
held numerous senior positions, as an entrepreneur he has
been a principal in several successful ventures. In addition
to his operating duties at Siraj Capital; Ltd Mr. Mardam-Bey
also maintains an active role in corporate governance and
public speaking.
Some of his accomplishments prior to co-founding Siraj Capital
Ltd include serving as Chief Financial Officer of a Telecom
company, Strategic Advisor and Non-Executive Director of an
educational software company, Chief Marketing Officer and
member of the founding team of one of the MENA regions' leading
structured finance banks.
Mr. Mardam-Bey is a frequently requested keynote speaker and
published author. He has written and contributed on topics
of international finance, Islamic Banking and Sukuk, and has
been featured in the following publications: Euromoney, Banker
Middle East, Sukuk Insider and others. He has recently authored
a chapter in Euromoney's published book entitled "Islamic
Retail Banking and Finance: Global Challenges and Opportunities.
Mr. Mardam-Bey is a member of, the Arab Bankers Association
of North America, the London based Arab Bankers Association,
and Young Arab Leaders. Mr. Mardam-Bey has received numerous
business and professional recognitions and awards for his
pioneering work on several international Sukuk transactions.

Ahmed Muzni Mohamed
is Executive Vice President Islamic Finance for Siraj Capital
Ltd. Prior to joining Siraj Capital he was the Managing Director,
CEO and the Licensed Fund Manager Representative of Pelaburan
Johor Bhd, a state government-backed fund and unit trust management
company licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
Ahmed Muzni started his career as an investment analyst with
Nikko Securities Co. Ltd in Tokyo, Japan, covering the listed
companies in the cement, industrial ceramics and glass sector
on the Main Board of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. He was later
posted to Nikko Research Centre Representative Office in Singapore
where his responsibilities expanded to the coverage of building
material, construction and infrastructure public listed companies
traded on Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta bourses. Ahmed
Muzni left Nikko Securities to join Smith New Court PLC in Jakarta,
Indonesia, and later Merrill Lynch in Jakarta when the latter
completed the takeover of Smith New Court in 1995. He rejoined
the Nikko Securities Group to establish and head the investment
research team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was the registered
Investment Adviser Representative License holder while working
for Nikko Advisory Services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ahmed
Muzni holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Hitotsubashi University
in Tokyo, Japan and an Executive Diploma in Business Administration
from Henley Management College in Oxfordshire, England. |

Amer A. Mardam-Bey is Executive Vice
President for Business Development & Project Management. With
22 plus year chronicle of success driving benchmark-setting
growth and expansion for globally focused organizations, Amer
has held a number of executive management positions in mature,
start-up and turnaround corporate environments, delivering
aggressive revenue growth and increased shareholder value.
With extensive international business background in multi-cultural
environments, his experience extends to strategic operational
planning and implementation, project development management,
strategic alliances and marketing communications.
Amer has held a number of senior executive positions with
Harris Corporation, AppTek, AEGIS and others, has a documented
record of strong, decisive leadership expertise and has actively
participated in the planning, development and launching of
new enterprises and projects and has developed valued skills
in PPM activities, venture capital funding and M & A transactions.
He has also managed several international projects in Germany,
Cuba, Moscow, Haiti, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Most recently he was the Senior Program Director for Harris
Corporation, on The Iraqi Media Network, a $120 Million Television,
Radio and Newspaper network centre. His responsibilities included
overall project management including, construction, equipment
integration and installation, logistics, security, training
and site management for 31 locations throughout Iraq.
Amer holds a BA, in Management and Public Policy from New
England College, New Hampshire, an MBA in Finance and International
Marketing from The Kogod College of Business Administration,
The American University, Washington D.C., has completed an
Executive Leadership Program from the Wharton Business School,
and is a Certified Project Manager from The Project Management
Institute in Pennsylvania. He is fluent in Arabic, English
and French.

Shazilan Dahalan
is Vice President, Finance and Administration of Siraj Capital
Limited. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) registered
with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Prior to
joining Siraj Capital Ltd, he was the Vice President - Finance
& Operations of Tricubes Berhad, a public listed company on
Bursa Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange), in which he has
served for the last 10 years in various management capacities
covering mainly accounting, corporate finance, treasury, operations,
procurement & manufacturing, human resources and administration.
He started his career in 1992 with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)
as Senior Executive and in the next 5 years, he has had extensive
training in various audit, taxation and corporate services assignments
in numerous private companies, cooperatives and public listed
companies covering banking, capital markets, property developments,
information communications & technology, manufacturing, services,
trading and more.In 1997, he left PwC and joined TricubesNCR
(EPNCR), an associate JV company of NCR Corporation, as Manager
- Finance & Administration and was involved in the implementation
of Malaysian Government Multipurpose Smart Card Project, a high
profile flagship project under the Multimedia Super Corridor
(MSC) initiatives in Malaysia. Thereafter he moved in ranks
within the Tricubes Group until his last position held in 2006
which was the Vice President - Finance & Operations.
Shazilan Dahalan qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA) pursuant
to his admission to the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Honors) from UiTM,

Hisham S. El-Farouki
is Vice President, Private Equity, active in Siraj Capital Ltd's
Private Equity business. In all he has over 11 years of experience
in corporate finance and as an entrepreneur. Prior to joining
SIRAJ, he was founder and manager of a successful Saudi-based
entrepreneurial venture in the Hospitality Food & Beverage sector.
Hisham started his career in 1997 as an Investment Banking Analyst
with the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, completing rotations
in several groups within the firm. Promoted to Senior Analyst
at the now combined JP Morgan Chase, he was transferred to London
where he completed rotations as a Credit Officer and within
the Syndicated Finance Group. He completed his JP Morgan Chase
career in 2001 as an Associate on the Middle East Private Banking
team. Hisham has a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD,
has completed extensive management programs at the University
of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School and received a Bachelor
of Science Degree from Boston College. He also successfully
completed the Chase Manhattan Bank's Analyst Training Program.

Maher Mohammad Othman
is Vice President in charge of Riyadh operations. He has twenty-two
years of experience working as a Managing Director and Board
Member at companies engaged in international trade and investment,
as well as manufacturing and services. Maher's job responsibilities
have allowed him to gain expertise in a wide range of areas,
including operations reengineering, finance, sales & marketing,
planning, human resources, and distribution, as well as active
representation and promotion of international companies in the
GCC.
Maher has used his leadership experience and position as a management
executive to create an impressive record of driving market revenue
and profit growth. On a recent project, he launched an aggressive
reengineering of existing operations. The result was to bring
the company to new levels of success in terms of sales growth,
operating income, working capital, cash flow, and internal growth.

Jonathan D. Strum, Esq. is General
Counsel of Siraj Capital Ltd., and is Of Counsel to Patton
Boggs, an international law firm based in Washington DC, with
offices in New York, New Jersey, Dallas, Denver, Anchorage,
Doha, Qatar and Northern Virginia. Jonathan has worked as
both a lawyer and a principle in numerous transactions in
the Middle East, Africa and Asia. His legal practice includes
a broad range of topics including, World Bank Development
projects, Asset Backed Securitisation, Shariah finance, and
project finance.
Jonathan has also served as counsel to several investment
funds including venture capital funds, Shariah compliant funds,
and conventional investment funds. For more than ten years
Jonathan was an Adjunct Professor of International Law at
Georgetown University Law Center. He is a frequent speaker
at international conferences, at the Securitisation World
MENA 2006 in Dubai in April 2006 and the Islamic Real Estate
Finance Conference also in Dubai in December 2005. He is a
regular commentator and analyst on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News Channel
and CSPAN. Jonathan also serves as a board member and advisor
to several philanthropic and non-profit organizations focused
on peace, dialogue, the environment and global health issues.

Christopher R. Smith is Director Business
Development of Siraj Capital Ltd. Christopher has over 20
years of experience as an international and domestic financial
professional concentrating primarily on Securitization and
structured finance, both conventional and Shariah-compliant
transactions (Sukuk), mergers and acquisitions and business
development. Most recently, Christopher was the US business
development liaison for the first ever S&P rated Shariah-compliant
gas backed US securitization, the US$ 165 million East Cameron
Gas Sukuk. In 2004 Christopher co-founded Renewable Energy
Funding, LLC (REF). REF provides financial advisory and business
development services to the renewable energy industry in connection
with arranging senior debt, subordinated debt and/or equity
financing for renewable energy projects as well as oil & gas
transactions.
Christopher served as a consultant and subsequently the North
American Channel Partner of BSEC-SA focusing on conventional
and Shariah-compliant securitization and structured finance
transactions in the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
From 1998 through 2004, Christopher served as CEO of Asset
Capital Finance N.A., LLC, an Atlanta based business consulting,
asset based lending and private equity financial advisory
firm. Christopher assisted firms in business development,
raising growth capital, mergers, acquisitions and reverse
mergers into public entities and providing debt facilities
in the hotel and resort industry.

Eoghan M.P. McMahon Vice President
– Hospitality & Real Estate. Eoghan brings a wealth of experience
to the company with an extensive network of hospitality personnel
and an in-depth understanding of both corporate and consumer
capabilities across the region. Prior to joining SIRAJ Capital,
Eoghan was based in Ho Chi Minh City as Senior Operations
Manager with Vina Capital, a leading AIM listed fund management
financial institution involved in hospitality asset management
and development, real estate & infrastructural development
and private equity activities throughout Vietnam and the region,
responsible for the evaluation of potential business development
opportunities and the realization of hospitality development
projects involving Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Mövenpick
Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels
Worldwide, Accor Hotels, Minor International PCL and a team
of top international designers, architects, surveyors and
construction professionals.
While in Vietnam Eoghan also founded and managed a boutique
Hong Kong-based entrepreneurial venture in the Hospitality
consultancy sector catering to small to medium hospitality
and catering operators.
Eoghan studied Hotel and Catering Management in Ireland and
started his career working for Hyatt Hotels & Resort USA in
San Francisco and was later transferred as part of the pre-opening
team to Grand Hyatt Muscat, Oman. After a successful opening
and operational period Eoghan moved to Dubai and joined the
Jumeirah Group, The Jumeirah Beach Hotel. After gaining a
further 5-star international experience he accepted an offer
to relocated to Hong Kong and joined the Mandarin Oriental
Hotel Group (MOHG). With over 10 years international management
experience in hospitality, development and asset management
Eoghan is now based in Dubai, U.A.E.

Khalid Yousaf -
Vice President - Investments & Capital Markets. Prior
to his current role, he was Managing Director - Islamic Finance
at International Holding Group- a boutique Private Equity &
Investment Advisory firm based in Dubai, UAE. In his previous
assignment as Director - Islamic Finance at Dubai International
Financial Centre (DIFC) Khalid was responsible for developing
a unique value proposition and attracting Islamic Financial
Institutions to operate from its platform.
Khalid has extensive experience within the world's leading
banking groups. He has been Managing Director of the Financial
Institutions Group at Bank of America in the UK. He also worked
at Citibank in the UK, Turkey, USA, Belgium, Greece &
Pakistan, his roles included Country Operations Officer and
Vice President Positions.
His areas of banking expertise span over Operations, IT,
Treasury Management, Risk Management, Financial Control and
B2B e-Business Solution. In addition, he has held a number
of key Business Development roles in both Islamic and traditional
banking products & services, transaction banking and capital
market instruments.
